• Automated bank feeds: Your transaction data flows in overnight, ready to be matched. Set up bank rules, process your bills and receipts through Xero, and you’re saving all the data entry that comes with a spreadsheet.
• Smart invoicing: Set up automatic reminders so you do not have to chase overdue payments yourself.
• Real-time clarity: You always know your cash flow position without running manual calculations.

2. Dext Prepare: The End of Receipt Hunting

A Word on AI

These three tools are well-established and easy to get started with, but the landscape of time-saving technology is moving quickly. AI writing assistants are already helping business owners draft emails, summarise documents and handle routine correspondence in a fraction of the time it used to take.

We are not going to recommend one specific tool here – the options are evolving fast and the right fit depends on how you work. But if you have not yet experimented with AI in your day-to-day workflow, is is worth exploring. The potential to claw back another hour or two each week is very real.
